11月25日早7:00國(guó)際部美高8年級(jí)的孩子們便整裝以待，他們伴著清晨最柔和的陽(yáng)光主持第13周的升旗儀式。8年級(jí)是一個(gè)由18名同學(xué)組成的大家庭，是一個(gè)凝聚了青春與夢(mèng)想的班級(jí)，一個(gè)匯集了朝氣與拼搏的班級(jí)，他們團(tuán)結(jié)奮進(jìn)，自信陽(yáng)光，每一天都充滿意義！盡管早上的氣溫低至零攝氏度，但這絲毫沒有影響孩子們的熱情，整個(gè)升旗儀式的每一處細(xì)節(jié)都因莊重而格外耀眼！

下面就讓我們一起來(lái)感受一下孩子們的國(guó)旗下雙語(yǔ)演講：

11月28日是感恩節(jié)。感恩是一種歌唱方式，更是一種生活的大智慧。懂得了感恩，學(xué)會(huì)了感恩，我們才能擁有快樂和幸福。所以再這樣一個(gè)節(jié)日里，我們感恩父母，因?yàn)樗麄兘o予我們無(wú)私的愛；感恩老師，因?yàn)樗麄冇帽M心血，引領(lǐng)我們成長(zhǎng)。但感恩絕不是嘴上說(shuō)說(shuō)而已，我們將拿出行動(dòng)，樹立夢(mèng)想，立志成為一名合格的家國(guó)之棟梁。

November 28th is the Thanksgiving Day. Gratefulness is not only a way of singing, but also a great wisdom of life. Knowing how to be grateful, learning to be grateful, these are the ways we get happiness. So during such a wonderful festival, we show greatness to our parents for their selfless love. We show thanks to teachers for their efforts. But gratefulness is not expressed only by words but actions. We must take actions and dream big.

雖然，我們現(xiàn)在還是8年級(jí)的學(xué)生，但這一直都是我們所不斷追求的，我們夢(mèng)想著能夠進(jìn)入理想的象牙塔，成長(zhǎng)為一名有中國(guó)靈魂世界眼光的合格的青年!

Although we are still 8th grade students, this is what we are constantly pursuing. We dream of being able to enter the ideal university and grow into a useful youth with Chinese soul and world vision in the world!

我們會(huì)在認(rèn)真思索，全面了解后選擇自己想去的異國(guó)他鄉(xiāng)，去努力學(xué)習(xí)那吸引著我們的文化與學(xué)術(shù)；我們也會(huì)追隨榜樣的足跡，去往那充滿挑戰(zhàn)的校園。

We will carefully think about it and choose a foreign country that we want to go to learn the culture?and academics that attract us. We will follow the footprints of models, going to the challenging campus.

下面就讓我們跟隨8年級(jí)優(yōu)秀學(xué)生代表曲若涵Regina、李雨菱Linda一起來(lái)聽一下他們的演講《我的留學(xué)夢(mèng)》。

Now let’s enjoy the speeches from Regina, Linda, who are outstanding representatives of Grade 8.

首先有請(qǐng)曲若涵同學(xué)，她希望不久之后自己能夠通過努力申請(qǐng)到澳大利亞的學(xué)校，因?yàn)橄啾让绹?guó)等國(guó)家，她更喜歡澳大利亞的風(fēng)土民情，喜歡那里的嚴(yán)謹(jǐn)?shù)膶W(xué)術(shù)氛圍，喜歡那種偏理科的思維模式。

Regina：I have clear goals of future, hoping I can successfully finish the application for universities in Australia. Compared with the United States, I prefer the local traditions and customs in Australia. I like the strong academic atmosphere and science-tilting thinking mode. That’s why I fell in love with mathematics after I came to Weiming ISD. I dream that one day I can be a representative of Chinese students and show our young people’s ability to foreigners. Therefore I will start from very beginning and try my best to strive for a bright future!

接下來(lái)，再讓我們來(lái)聽一下李雨菱同學(xué)的演講，感受一下奧克蘭大學(xué)的魅力，作為新西蘭最重要的高等學(xué)府之一，那里必將助力李雨菱同學(xué)的攝影工作室之夢(mèng)想！

魯迅先生也說(shuō)：“我們從古以來(lái)，就有埋頭苦干的人，有拼命硬干的人，有為民請(qǐng)命的人，有舍身求法的人……這就是中國(guó)的脊梁”?！爸灰沽翰粡?，沒有扛不起的山”。而我們正是“鐵肩擔(dān)道義”的“鐵肩”和“脊梁”。

Just as Mr. Luxun said, “Since ancient times, we have people among us who have toiled hard at work; some have ram through obstacles to get things done; some others have pleaded to authority on the needs of ordinary people; many others have pursued truths at all costs.” “As long as the backbone is not bent, there will be no mountains that cannot be shouldered.” It’s we that are the “shoulders” and “backbones” for taking up the responsibility.

所以從明天起，打造你的夢(mèng)想吧！只有不停地嘗試、不停地努力，你才能在最美的時(shí)代遇見最好的自己！
